Highly explosive aviation fuels require Offshore Oil Platforms, Marine and Military vessels to install explosionproof, all-weather capable means of guidance for inbound and outbound aircraft to and from helidecks and flat-tops.
When coupled with remote PTZ units, Ex|CAM AF Series has the ability to track aircraft in subzero temperatures in the most extreme environments. Zone 1 IIB + H2 T4 ATEX Certification enable Ex|CAM’s installation in close proximity to aircraft landing area to scan for autoignition hotspots on the aircraft in order to prevent fire and resulting explosion of aviation fuel vapour.
Remote control camera function including PTZ control, focus, zoom and palette inversion allow guidance to be controlled and followed by aircraft control personnel anywhere on the platform or vessel. Ex|CAM AF Series can “see” through smoke, fog and mist in both day and night,
Additional safety features include Man Overboard Search and Resume an important addition role when personnel are entering and exiting aircraft in extreme weather both day and night.
